I believe my couples and clients are the masterpiece, and I’m simply the artist helping set them free – honoring you, the people you love and your most precious memories.
It’s that crazy, imperfect mess of living that is worth a spot on your wall. The kind of art that keeps on speaking to your soul, long after it was taken.
I have a background in gallery showings, artist residencies and having big critiques on my work. It’s undeniably shaped how I shoot, the things I see, and my final, edited photos. So when I look at people: I see beauty, paintings, movement. My work is moody and painterly and all about capturing the nostalgia of a beautiful moment in time.
But I’m not pretentious. I’m not chasing some illusive, perfect expression of beauty. I’m here to capture people who live out of vans, create art of their own, trust my vision, sleep under the stars, read poetry, love a good dirty joke, appreciate humor and passion. I’m embarrassingly human. I tell all the self-deprecating jokes and my second language is sarcasm.
Not only does she have an incredible eye and aesthetic, she has a way of making you feel absolutely comfortable in front of the camera. Behind the scenes she is as organized as she is talented, which made everything about booking a shoot with her stress free and exciting. I cannot wait to work with her again. Go book your photoshoot with her right now.
It rained on my wedding day and she still managed to get all the shots I wanted and more. She helps create a timeline to keep everything organized and flowing smoothly. I will always recommend Courtney to anyone for all and any photography needs you may have.
Courtney took my fiancé and I proposal and holiday card photos this year. As it was a total surprise for me, she paid close attention to detail, helped him pick out the most perfect location and even got our 9 month old puppy to pose nicely. Most importantly, she gave us the most amazing photos as an end result. Thank you so much Courtney for capturing our special moment. I would highly recommend her for any of your photographer needs!
Courtney photographed our small wedding ceremony and reception, as well as our engagement photos beforehand. They are gorgeous and so natural, they feel like us the in best way. She was so wonderful to work with! Our families and the two us have all been crying happy tears looking at the photos of our wedding day. She captured all of the most special moments, and we are so grateful to have had her as our photographer. Our celebration was untraditional in format and Courtney did everything to help us through the process and capture each moment throughout our wedding. She was so accommodating and helpful! We would highly, highly recommend her to anyone hoping to commemorate any special occasion!
She made me feel more comfortable in front of a camera than I ever have been before, which resulted in a beautiful, real, authentic, candid documentation of my wedding day. My husband and I were in tears looking through our album when we first got it back (which was record fast by the way). Her photos have a *feeling* to them that moves me every time I look at them. I will cherish my wedding album forever because of Courtney's magic!
I immediately felt so comfortable in front of her camera. Me and my husband just received our full gallery from our September 2023 wedding and we are blown away by the photos! Courtney and her second shooter Anthony did an amazing job for us and we highly recommend!
Where will I travel to, you ask? ANYWHERE. Literally. Anywhere. I love traveling and if you give me a reason, I 1000% will.
When you decide to book a call with me to meet and go over all of your wedding details, we will go over locations and whatnot as well. If your wedding or engagement session is taking place more than 75 miles one way (150 round trip) from Rensselaerville, NY and I will be driving - the additional charge is .75 cents per mile.
If you are getting married or having an engagement session somewhere that I would have to fly to, rent a car, take a train, have an overnight stay, etc. then you will receive a custom proposal that includes those expenses in addition. Again, we would talk about all of these things beforehand, I wouldn’t just spring it on you!
6-8 weeks is the delivery time for getting your full wedding gallery back! Have no fear - sneak peeks will come to you within a week of your wedding!
No, when you hire me - you’re hiring me for everything that I bring to the table that another photographer does not. That goes for my style, my process, my charming personality (LOL) – all of it. Part of what gives me joy and what fills my cup is being able to give YOU those nostalgic and timeless photographs.
I specialize in documentary-style imagery which means I’m there to capture moments as authentically as possible. If you are wanting someone to manipulate what you look like then I don’t think I am the right fit.
I do not give out RAW photos. For those who don’t know, a RAW photo is a photo that is straight out of the camera, unedited and as is. I do not give these out because I believe it is like going to a restaurant and asking the chef for a raw steak so you can cook it yourself in the dining room. When you hire me as your photographer, you are also hiring me for my style, my vision and my editing.

The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your belly is beautifully round, but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the session.
Nest and Nurture Sessions include maternity, newborn, and family photography, all designed to celebrate your growing family. These sessions focus on capturing authentic, emotional moments during some of the most meaningful stages of life.
You’ll receive a sneak peek within a week of your session, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Each gallery includes a minimum of 100 beautifully edited images.
Newborn sessions are baby-led, meaning we work around your baby’s needs. I take my time to make sure your little one is comfortable, whether that means feeding, changing, or soothing. We allow plenty of time for breaks, and there’s no rush!
Maternity and family sessions typically last around 1 to 1.5 hours. Newborn sessions may take a little longer—about 1 to 2 hours—so we have plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby.
Absolutely! Props are a fantastic way to make your session unique and creative. Whether it’s a disco ball, flowers or something meaningful to you, props can elevate the concept of the shoot. We’ll discuss the vibe during our planning call to make sure everything ties together beautifully.
Your wardrobe should reflect your personality and the concept we’re going for. In your Welcome Guide, I’ve provided wardrobe tips that cover different styles and moods. Whether you’re going for bold, artistic or minimal, we’ll work together to find the perfect outfits. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to offer personalized suggestions during our planning call.
These sessions are for anyone looking to express their creativity and individuality through photography. Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, musician or simply someone who wants to capture a unique side of themselves, these sessions are designed to reflect you. They are perfect for anyone who wants to step outside the ordinary and into something more artistic, conceptual, or just fucking cool.
Yes, you can absolutely add extras after booking. Whether it’s a roll of film, Polaroids, or a Super 8 video, we can incorporate these into your session even after you’ve secured your date. Just let me know, and we’ll add it to your session plan!
Not at all! I’ll guide you through natural poses and interactions to help you feel comfortable and look your best. My goal is to capture genuine moments of beauty, so there’s no need to worry about posing perfectly.
You should wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable! This could be lingerie, a robe, an oversized sweater, a favorite t-shirt or nothing at all.
An Aura Session is an intimate boudoir photography experience designed to celebrate and capture your natural beauty. Whether you're booking for yourself or as a couple, these sessions focus on confidence, authenticity, and empowerment.
I take your privacy very seriously. I will only share images from your session with your explicit permission. If you prefer to keep your photos private, they will remain for your eyes only.
Aura Sessions typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for wardrobe changes and capturing a variety of looks. For couples, sessions may take a little longer to allow for different poses and interactions.
Aura Sessions are typically shot in beautiful, private Airbnbs that I book for the session. I’ll select a location that complements the aesthetic we’ve discussed, ensuring a comfortable, luxurious environment for your shoot.
If it makes you feel more comfortable, you're welcome to bring a friend or partner. For couples' sessions, your partner is, of course, a part of the shoot. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and supported.
I do not use Photoshop to alter the way you look. My goal is to celebrate your natural beauty exactly as it is. I will edit out small, temporary blemishes (like a pimple or scratch) but will not change your body shape, skin texture, or any other features. I believe in embracing authenticity, and I want you to feel empowered by seeing yourself in a real, beautiful way.
Sessions typically last between 1-2 hours depending on if you plan on different locations or outfit changes.
Absolutely! Pets are part of the family, and I love including them in the session. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
You’ll receive a sneak peek within a week of your session, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Each gallery includes a minimum of 100 beautifully edited images.

While my digital photography evokes those vintage, moody tones, shooting on film or recording with Super 8 is the medium that started it all. Each frame feels like the soul of a moment, forever preserved.
In a world dominated by instant digital images, there is something beautifully imperfect about preserving memories on film. Film has an ethereal quality, capturing not just how a moment looked, but how it felt—a nostalgic echo haunting every frame.
I already have a knack for falling in love with strangers I’ve never met, so you can BET I’m going to be head-over-heels for YOU. Once all the official shit is out of the way, I’ll be sending your bespoke Welcome Guide, questionnaires and following along your life story on Instagram. And the art & memories we’re going to create together? An absolute MASTERPIECE.
Feel like we’d be a good fit? Reach out in my contact form, and I’ll follow up to schedule a call for us to meet!
Once we decide we vibe and you can’t imagine any other human photographing your day, I’ll send over a proposal with all the details/deliverables, your contract and the initial invoice to secure your date. This is the part where we all get really fucking excited!!
A hobby of mine is finding old negatives and scanning them to reveal what has been hidden and forgotten. It always feels strange to look at these images afterward and see faces I don’t know.
Yet, from these faces, I catch glimpses of their lives. Perhaps this is why people once believed that having your photograph taken could capture a piece of your soul or essence. In a way, film photography embodies this belief — you’re preserving a moment from the past, a connection to someone no longer living – and it’s all revealing itself like a lost artifact in the darkroom.
