I have a background in gallery showings, artist residencies and having big critiques on my work. It’s undeniably shaped how I shoot, the things I see, and my final, edited photos. So when I look at people: I see beauty, paintings, movement. My work is moody and painterly and all about capturing the nostalgia of a beautiful moment in time.
But I’m not pretentious. I’m not chasing some illusive, perfect expression of beauty. I’m here to capture people who live out of vans, create art of their own, trust my vision, sleep under the stars, read poetry, love a good dirty joke, appreciate humor and passion. I’m embarrassingly human. I tell all the self-deprecating jokes and my second language is sarcasm.

FAQ's
Where will I travel to, you ask? ANYWHERE. Literally. Anywhere. I love traveling and if you give me a reason, I 1000% will.
When you decide to book a call with me to meet and go over all of your wedding details, we will go over locations and whatnot as well. If your wedding or engagement session is taking place more than 75 miles one way (150 round trip) from Rensselaerville, NY and I will be driving - the additional charge is .75 cents per mile.
If you are getting married or having an engagement session somewhere that I would have to fly to, rent a car, take a train, have an overnight stay, etc. then you will receive a custom proposal that includes those expenses in addition. Again, we would talk about all of these things beforehand, I wouldn’t just spring it on you!
6-8 weeks is the delivery time for getting your full wedding gallery back! Have no fear - sneak peeks will come to you within a week of your wedding!
How long until I get my wedding or elopement gallery back?

No, when you hire me - you’re hiring me for everything that I bring to the table that another photographer does not. That goes for my style, my process, my charming personality (LOL) – all of it. Will you photoshop us?
I specialize in documentary-style imagery which means I’m there to capture moments as authentically as possible. If you are wanting someone to manipulate what you look like then I don’t think I am the right fit.
Will I receive RAW photos?
I do not give out RAW photos. For those who don’t know, a RAW photo is a photo that is straight out of the camera, unedited and as is. I do not give these out because I believe it is like going to a restaurant and asking the chef for a raw steak so you can cook it yourself in the dining room. When you hire me as your photographer, you are also hiring me for my style, my vision and my editing.

When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage, your belly is beautifully round, but you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the session.
What types of sessions are included in Nest and Nurture?
Nest and Nurture Sessions include maternity, newborn, and family photography, all designed to celebrate your growing family. These sessions focus on capturing authentic, emotional moments during some of the most meaningful stages of life.
How old should my baby be for a newborn session?
You’ll receive a sneak peek within a week of your session, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. Each gallery includes a minimum of 100 beautifully edited images.
What happens if my baby is fussy during the session?
Newborn sessions are baby-led, meaning we work around your baby’s needs. I take my time to make sure your little one is comfortable, whether that means feeding, changing, or soothing. We allow plenty of time for breaks, and there’s no rush!
How long do Nest and Nurture Sessions last?
Maternity and family sessions typically last around 1 to 1.5 hours. Newborn sessions may take a little longer—about 1 to 2 hours—so we have plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby.

Not at all! I’ll guide you through natural poses and interactions to help you feel comfortable and look your best. My goal is to capture genuine moments of beauty, so there’s no need to worry about posing perfectly.
What should I wear for my session?
You should wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable! This could be lingerie, a robe, an oversized sweater, a favorite t-shirt or nothing at all.
What is an Aura Session?
An Aura Session is an intimate boudoir photography experience designed to celebrate and capture your natural beauty. Whether you're booking for yourself or as a couple, these sessions focus on confidence, authenticity, and empowerment.
Do I need to know how to pose?
I take your privacy very seriously. I will only share images from your session with your explicit permission. If you prefer to keep your photos private, they will remain for your eyes only.
How long will the session last?
Aura Sessions typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing plenty of time for wardrobe changes and capturing a variety of looks. For couples, sessions may take a little longer to allow for different poses and interactions.
Where will the session take place?
Aura Sessions are typically shot in beautiful, private Airbnbs that I book for the session. I’ll select a location that complements the aesthetic we’ve discussed, ensuring a comfortable, luxurious environment for your shoot.
Will my photos be shared online?
If it makes you feel more comfortable, you're welcome to bring a friend or partner. For couples' sessions, your partner is, of course, a part of the shoot. The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and supported.
How much editing will you do? Do you Photoshop images?
I do not use Photoshop to alter the way you look. My goal is to celebrate your natural beauty exactly as it is. I will edit out small, temporary blemishes (like a pimple or scratch) but will not change your body shape, skin texture, or any other features. I believe in embracing authenticity, and I want you to feel empowered by seeing yourself in a real, beautiful way.
Can I bring a friend or partner to the session?

A hobby of mine is finding old negatives and scanning them to reveal what has been hidden and forgotten. It always feels strange to look at these images afterward and see faces I don’t know.
Yet, from these faces, I catch glimpses of their lives. Perhaps this is why people once believed that having your photograph taken could capture a piece of your soul or essence. In a way, film photography embodies this belief — you’re preserving a moment from the past, a connection to someone no longer living – and it’s all revealing itself like a lost artifact in the darkroom.
